Endhiran is a forthcoming science-fiction film being directed by S. Shankar, who with Endhiran, directs his tenth feature film. Despite several rumours regarding the lead actors, Rajnikanth and Aishwarya Rai have been formally announced to portray the title role. The film is expected to cost 120 crores and is set to contest with Kamal Haasan's film, Marmayogi, in a race to become India's most expensive film to date. After completing Nayak: The Real Hero in 2001, Shankar announced a project with Kamal Haasan and Preity Zinta titled Robo, to be produced by the now-defunct production company Media Dreams. Superstar Rajinikant, who was caught in the crossfire between Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, over his ‘anti-Kannadiga’ statements has apologised and appealed to the people of Karnataka to allow the release of his latest film Kuselan.  Speaking to Kannada channels, Rajinikant said, “This incident has taught me a lesson. I shall never commit such a mistake again. Please allow the release of Kuselan in Karnataka." "The people who are opposing me are also children of Karnataka. They are doing it for their state. Please, please forget the past and whatever I have said. Allow me to release my film. Sachin Tendulkar will make his Bollywood debut with a cameo role in a film about the miracles of the elephant-headed Hindu deity Ganesh. Tendulkar, widely regarded as one of the world's best batsmen, will play himself in "Vighnaharta Shri Siddhivinayak," a film about the god, who is sometimes referred to as Siddhivinayak."He will play a small role, as himself, either in a song sequence or in an actual scene," said Rajiv Sanghvi, whose company is handling the film's production.Tendulkar's office confirmed the cricketer would be shooting for the film after he returns from Sri Lanka where India is touring at the moment.Tendulkar, a devotee of Ganesh, had offered to be a part of the project and will not be charging for the role, Sanghvi said.The film is being produced by the Siddhivinayak Temple Trust, which looks after a famous temple dedicated to Ganesh in Mumbai."Sachin has been a regular at the temple for many years now and he never gives up an... There Serial bomb blast at AhmedabadReports have been coming in that there have been 4 blasts at Ahmedabad.The blasts were reported at Raipura, Bapunagar, Diamond Market and Manninagar Chowk. As of yet we don’t know if the Ahmedabad blasts are low intensity like Bangalore or was it a high intensity blast.The initial reports say that 5 people were injured, it is too early to say exactly how many are injured. We don’t know yet if it is the same people who are behind the Bangalore blast or not. Gujarat have been a target of communal riots in the past. The people of India are trying hard to recover from the shock of eight low-intensity blasts that killed a woman a day earlier, the blasts at Bangalore were low intensity only to spread fear.Initial suspects are international terrorists. An earthquake measuring 6.7 on the Richter scale shook the Andaman and Nicobar Islands and parts of Chennai today triggering panic among residents. With its epicentre near Andaman and Nicobar Islands, the quake occurring at around 1700 hrs lasted a few seconds and rocked several parts of Chennai including the busy T Nagar, Nugambakkam and Koyambedu areas.
